On JackSpot, you can create and place your own Spots on a map shared with everyone else. You can also browse their Spots and see what they’re up to. Create a Spot to share local information or engage with communities outside of your own.

Spots can be placed on streets anywhere in the world and remain posted for one week! Planning a trip soon? JackSpot is the best way to tap into the knowledge of your next destination’s locals. Browse Spots in a foreign country or place your own with a question (e.g. “What sights are worth seeing in Barcelona?”) to get quick answers from those in-the-know. Help out people in your area by answering their questions too!

Place a Spot on the map to:
•Share a photo of a vista point or hiking trail you love
•Tell the community about a spectacular restaurant in town
•Attract attention to your weekend garage sale
•Ask a question to a specific community
•And much more!

If there is a specific area you’d like to receive updates about, you can ‘watch’ that location. ‘Watch’ the area around your home, work, or anywhere else in the world to receive notifications about Spots posted in those places. The map shows where other users have chosen to ‘watch’ as well as your ‘watched’ locations, but never your actual location nor theirs. Use this feature to keep tabs on events in your neighborhood and find somewhere new to go after you clock out.
